Each year, the Plainfield Fire department holds their "Camp 9-1-1"
for township residents in conjunction with the E.S.C.A.P.E. program.
This program is designed to educate children in the fundamentals of
Fire Safety, and have a lot of fun and competition too.
This year, the Fire Department was fortunate to have available
the E.S.C.A.P.E. trailer so the campers could have the opportunity
to see first hand what a burning structure fire was like, and how to
escape. As you can see, the children, and the instructors, had a
